  • Thin affiliate pages can’t survive any longer
  • Must have specific requirements to pass the quality score hurdle
  • You only want to do JUST ENOUGH work to get things going

  • Home – paragraph of introduction, links to everything else, ideally no one even visits here – Or … don’t even have it
  • Blog – set up a blog and make 2-3 posts to start with
  • Themed landing pages with keyword phrase in H1 tags and bolded in at least one spot

  • Content – Main content link page with each article getting its own page. 5-10 articles with 400-600 words each
  • Resources – link from main content page out to authority sites .edu, .gov, wikipedia etc.

This section deals with creating effective landing pages, the page that your visitors will see after they click on your Adwords ad.

In this section Steve goes through his and Tim’s strategy in creating these landing pages. Both of them prefer different strategies.  One prefers to sent the visitor directly to the affiliate, the other prefers to capture the visitor’s email before sending them to the affiliate.

This section is basically about writing copy and preparing your page to get visitors to take action, whether to click your affiliate link or for them to opt in their name and email address.

This section is done very well about how to create effective PPC landing pages with different strategies.

It’s very important to create effective landing pages that get visitors to click on the affiliate link or for them to opt in their email.  The money is in the list. It’s easier to sell to a current customer than to a new one.

The copywriting methods used in this section are very easy to understand and very effective. These landing pages that you create are only good if you follow through with this course.
