  • This is an ongoing process – repeat every week for early campaigns and every 30 days for mature ones

Keyword Expansion

  • The list you saved from keyword research
  • Use SpeedPPC – organized into themes
  • Drill down of profitable terms using the same techniques in video 4, but using the keywords that make up 80% of your sales as the seed keyword

Keyword Expansion

  • WEALTH of information!! Pay for 2 keywords and get priceless data on 100’s

Bid Optimization

  • Every week for early campaigns
  • Every month for mature campaigns
  • Top positions reduce bid
  • cost/conversions check
  • eliminate keywords based on # of clicks and conversions

Content Network

  • Isolate this from the search campaigns so you can more easily evaluate CTR’s etc.
  • Start bid at 1/2 of what you’re bidding for the phrase/exact
  • Create a campaign with the keywords that make up the top 80% of sales
  • Select ONLY content network on campaign settings

Placement Campaigns

  • Run your ads on others’ sites
  • Use Adsense finder (Free) and get the top 10 sites for your top 5 keywords or so
  • Also look at the top 10 adwords advertisers
  • This is another reason I don’t want adsense on my landing pages!

Yahoo and Msn

  • Pick keywords that make up 80% of your sales
  • Move the ad/keyword/bids over to Yahoo and Msn
  • Change the destination url so you can track it (keywordphrase-matchtype-M)
  • Watch this closely! Not always a no brainer

Offline Advertising

  • Newspaper
  • Radio
  • TV

Email Marketing

  • Add an opt-in
  • See our amazing PDF ad templates!!
  • “rent” a list
  • JV with others

SEO

  • Use your PPC data…you paid for it!
  • Load every profitable keyword into Market Samurai and analyze them to find
  • opportunities
  • Find something with 1000 searches per day or more and < 200,000 competing pages

This section covers how to go from making money part time to becoming a full time business making lots of money.

I liked this section because it actually goes into detail of how to scale up a campaign successfully. This is an overlooked part of internet marketing because not too many people understand how to do it properly.
